For the week of May 22, we had 84 in attendance, with 15 on Zoom.

Next week we will read Acts 2:1-21 and celebrate the Return of Potluck - Almost! The Outreach Commission is planning an All-Church Meal and Corn Hole Tournament following the service. We will serve grilled burgers, hot dogs, and several sides. This is not a potluck where you bring food to share, but we could use a few people to make bars or cookies that will be served in individual baggies. We will eat outside, so we are hoping for a good-weather day, but June 12 is our rain date. Please bring lawn chairs.

In our partnership with First Slavic Baptist, last week we collected $200 to send to the congregation in Poltava. This week we're collecting for the Baptist Church in Irpin (a badly affected suburb of Kyiv). You can learn more about their story here: (it's powerful, it's 10 minutes, and a more recent update is that now they are resettling people in Irpin:-).

The Nickels invite you to a picnic in our backyard at 4p Memorial Day. Please plan to bring a lawn chair and a side/dessert to share. Please let me know if you're coming (we plan to grill hot dogs and hamburgers).

June 12 will be a music service. We would love input about which songs you would like to sing/hear on that day. Think about choruses, praise songs, and hymns. If you have requests, please fill out the form from the worship committee.

Flowers make a wonderful addition to the worship service. If you have flowers blooming that you could share with us on a Sunday morning, please bring them.

June 19 we will have a sending for the Harders. Between now and then, we will have a hymnal in which you can write them a note and sign your name.

Our Sunday school discussion of "Committees, positions, and gifts discernment at FMC" was great. If you haven't already done so, please continue the conversation by taking a few minutes to complete the online survey. If you need more information about the positions (there are a lot of them:-), please see these job descriptions. We're taking a summer break from our Shop hour... we hope to start it up again in the fall.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the MC USA Special Delegate Sessions happening this weekend. We give thanks for the work of God in our midst, and pray that the Holy Spirit would lead delegates as they talk together around tables.
