MOWING SCHEDULE – It’s getting warmer, and that means it’s time to fill out the summer mowing schedule.  Contact Caleb or Wade to pick a date that you can mow.

Also, I spoke with the pastor at First Slavic Baptist here in town, and he/they/we are brainstorming some opportunities in coming weeks... more info to come.

A new church directory will be available this spring. Please contact Stauffers with any additions or changes to cell phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.

Leadership board and elders are focusing on committees, positions, and gifts discernment at FMC. We have an online survey for people in the congregation to fill out soon, then we will continue discussions on how we might adjust things over the next few months. If you have ideas, questions, creative solutions, please speak with a member of these boards.

FMC is looking for two delegates for the delegate assembly 5/27-30 in Kansas City. If you'd be interested, please talk to Becky.

A catechism class will begin May 8. We will read God's Story, Our Story together. We will also have a session or two where we talk about baptism and church membership, so others who are interested can participate.

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Becky, Christian, and/or Ron.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the work of the Outreach and Service Committee of Central Plains Mennonite Conference. We ask for wisdom and courage as they lead by example and encouragement into new ways of thinking about and doing God's just work in our ever-changing world.
