QUARTERLY MISSION OFFERING for Dove’s Nest will be collected on Sunday April 24. Thanks to Jeanette for sharing last Sunday about the mission and current happenings.


NEXT SUNDAY we will read John 20:19-31 and collect our quarterly mission offering for Dove's Nest, and say "Christ has risen indeed" a whole bunch of times.


RELIEF SALE - Thank you for all the contributions for the 2022 Nebraska Relief Sale. First Mennonite donated 104 hygiene kits, food, and numerous items for the auctions, including quilts, wall hangings, art and crafts. Thanks for all the many hours of personal time both before and during the sale for handmade items, set-up, the music program, and helping volunteer in booths. My Coins Count raised $255.75 and that was matched by 3 people for a total of $1,023. The total amount brought in during the sale was $249,569.67. If interested, you can find individual auction items and the amount they brought on the website. A NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY will be available this spring. Please contact Stauffers with any additions or changes to cell phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.


CONVENTION - FMC is looking for two delegates for the delegate assembly 5/27-30 in Kansas City. If you'd be interested, please talk to Becky.


FMC COMMITTEES/POSITIONS & GIFTS DISCERNMENT - Leadership board and elders are focusing on these roles. There will be an online survey for people in the congregation soon, then we will lead discussions on how we might adjust things in coming months. If you have ideas, questions, creative solutions, please speak with a member of these boards.


CLASS – a catechism class will begin May 8. We will read God's Story, Our Story together. We will also talk about baptism and church membership, so others who are interested can participate.


SHARING FUND - We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture  commission: Steve, Becky, Christian, and/or Ron.
