Announcements

Next Sunday is Easter. We will have an informal Sonrise service at 9a, followed by a brunch at 9:30.   We will read John 20:1-18 and say "Christ has risen indeed" a whole bunch of times.

Thank you for all the contributions for the 2022 Nebraska Relief Sale. First Mennonite donated 104 hygiene kits, food, and numerous items for the auctions, including quilts, wall hangings, art and crafts.  Thanks for all the many hours of personal time both before and during the sale for handmade items, set-up, the music program, and helping volunteer in booths.  My Coins Count raised $255.75 and that was matched by 3 people for a total of $1,023.  The total amount brought in during the sale was $249,569.67.  If interested, you can find individual auction items and the amount they brought on the website.  (With appreciation, Glen & Tammy Reidel, FMC Congregational Sale Contacts and Gordon & Rhonda Brubacher, FMC reps on the Sale Board)

A new church directory will be available this spring. Please contact Stauffers with any additions or changes to cell phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.

FMC is looking for two delegates for the delegate assembly 5/27-30 in Kansas City. If you'd be interested, please talk to Becky.

A catechism class will begin after Easter. We will read God's Story, Our Story together. We will also have a session or two where we talk about baptism and church membership, so others who are interested can participate.

The Nurture Committee continues to fund a $100 gifting program.  If you know of someone who could benefit from receiving $100, contact Christian, Steve, Becky, or Ron. We will discuss and hand you a $100 bill for you to present to that person of need. All youth and adults may apply.

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Becky, Christian, and/or Ron.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the faculty, staff and students at Freeman Academy and Hillcrest Academy.
