Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Please have kids bring branches from the yard for the processional:-) We will have a Good News in Outreach from Dove's Nest and read John 12:12-27.
For our Easter services this year, please plan on:
An informal Sonrise service at 9a.
A brunch at 930 (when someone from helping hands asks you to bring something, please say "yes").
**We are not planning on having a Good Friday service this year at FMC.
Our 2022 Quarterly Mission Offering recipients: Dove’s Nest (4/24), Jacob’s Well (7/31), and Lincoln Literacy (10/30). Thank you for your input in choosing these recipients. The other worthy suggestions will be considered next year.
A new church directory will be available this spring. Please contact Stauffers with any additions or changes to cell phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.
We show "The Chosen" at FMC Mondays at 6:30 pm. If you have questions, please contact Ron T.
FMC is looking for two delegates for the delegate assembly 5/27-30 in Kansas City. If you'd be interested, please talk to Becky W.
A catechism class will begin after Easter. We will read God's Story, Our Story together. We will also have a session or two where we talk about baptism and church membership, so others who are interested can participate.
Shop hour will be on Zoom from 4-5p Wednesday.
The Nurture Committee continues to fund a $100 gifting program. If you know of someone who could benefit from receiving $100, contact Christian M., Steve N., Becky W., or Ron T. We will discuss and hand you a $100 bill for you to present to that person of need. All youth and adults may apply.
We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Becky, Christian, and/or Ron.
CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for Central Plains congregations that are in the midst of pastoral searches. Pray for search committees and for candidates looking for churches, that God may guide the search process according to God's will.
