Theme - Jesus chooses footwashing as one of his final acts before his expending death; in knowing his time with his disciples is short, he kneels down to wash their feet.

2022 Theme - Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. - Philippians 2:3–4

Today we welcome Marc Schlegel Preheim to bring us the message.  He is the son of Dallas and Barb Schlegel.

Next week Gordon Brubacher will have the message from our theme verse, we will present Bibles to our 2nd and 3rd graders, and we will continue our MCC coin and hygiene item collection.

Pick up the new Our Daily Bread devotional book on the shelf at the front door.

Quarterly Mission Offerings for this year will be: Dove’s Nest (4/24), Jacob’s Well (7/31), and Lincoln Literacy (10/30). Thank you for your input in choosing these recipients. The other worthy suggestions will be considered next year.

A new church directory will be available this spring. Please contact the Stauffers with any additions or changes to cell phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.

We are beginning to plan Holy Week services at FMC. We would like to know how folks would feel about a potluck-ish brunch Easter morning.

We are also wondering if folks appreciate the Good Friday service, or if we might try something different this year.

Please talk with one another, and let Dave Nickel know your thoughts on either/both idea(s).

FMC will be assembling comforters at 9a March 19. You don't have to be able to sew, any help is appreciated. Please contact Joyce Friesen for more info.

FMC is looking for a delegate or two for the delegate assembly 5/27-30 in Kansas City. Please talk to Becky Waegli if you'd be interested.

A catechism class will begin soon. We will read God's Story, Our Story together. We will also have a session or two where we talk about baptism and church membership, so others who are interested can participate.

Foodnet is running low on twist ties and carry-out containers (preferably either clear or with a clear lid). Please put them in the back classroom if you have saved some. Thanks.

Shop hour will be on Zoom from 4-5p Wednesday. Use the shop Zoom link.

The Nurture Committee continues to fund a $100 gifting program.  Contact Christian, Steve, Becky, or Ron.

FMC has established a Mortgage Assistance Fund. If you would have further questions about the fund, we would encourage you to contact Christian Mukuna, Rick Stauffer, Dallas Schlegel, Jim Buller, Joel Mpolesha, or Dave Nickel.

CONFREENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for congregations that are undergoing discernment processes. Pray that we can all be open to the Spirit's guidance and willing to follow.
