Announcements

Next week we will celebrate communion. We will have 3-4 tables set with little cups of grape juice and cubed bread. It will take a bit of time (there will be music), as we will encourage household units to partake one at a time. If you're celebrating via zoom, please have elements available or contact me and we'll figure out how to get you miracle meals:-) We will also read John 11:1-44.

With the local Directed Health Measure (DHM) ending at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 18, masks are optional, but encouraged in the FMC building.

Pick up the new Our Daily Bread devotional book on the shelf @ the front door.

Foodnet is running low on egg cartons and left-over containers (preferably either clear or with a clear lid). Please put them in the back classroom if you have saved some. Thanks.

A catechism class is coming together. Please contact me if you or one of your family members is interested in participating. There will be a couple in-person sessions and, more than likely, it will mostly be on Zoom. We will read God's Story, Our Story together. We will also have a session or two where we talk about church membership, so others who are interested can participate.

FMC will be assembling quilts at 9a on Saturday, March 5. You don't have to be able to sew. This is putting bottom fabric, taping all four sides to the table, batting, top fabric, and putting safety pins in all over to hold it together. Any help is appreciated. Also, full-size thin batting is needed. Please contact Joyce for more info.

On Monday evenings we will show "The Chosen" videos in the sanctuary. We will begin at 6:30 pm on March 7. If you have questions, please contact Ron.

MY COINS COUNT! Please start bringing your coins to church for our MCC Relief Sale starting next Sunday, March 6.

This year we will be contributing much needed hygiene kits to the Nebraska Relief Sale on April 1. The kits will be delivered to the MCC office to be distributed to families who have fled their homes because of disaster or war. We have 50-100 bags that we would like to fill with the items listed below.
Please bring the items to the church during the month of March. You may also contribute money and items will be purchased to fill the bags.

Contents (NEW items only)

1 adult-size toothbrush (in manufacturer’s packaging)

1 large bar bath soap (leave in wrapper)

1 nail clipper (good quality)

1 hand towel (medium weight, dark or bright colors; approx. 16 in x 26 in)

1 wide-toothed comb (6–8 in)
