Announcements

Next week as part of our Faith to Forest participation, we will have a Tree Sabbath. We will probably read a section of verses from John 5-8 and talk about trees.

Which team will win the Super Bowl--the Cincinnati Bengals or the Los Angeles Rams? Bring your cash Sunday for the youth group's Souper Bowl of Caring and donate in the pot representing your favorite team! No matter the outcome, Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach will come out a winner because of your donations!

FMC will be assembling QUILTS at 9am on Saturday, March 5. You don't have to be able to sew. This is putting bottom fabric, taping all four sides to the table, batting, top fabric, and putting safety pins in all over to hold it together. Any help is appreciated. Also, full-size thin batting is needed. Please contact Joyce for more info.

We will continue to collect our 1st QUARTERLY MISSION OFFERING, split between Mennonite Church USA (which includes Mennonite Mission Network) and Mennonite Central Committee.

THE NEBRASKA MENNONITE RELIEF SALE Board is happy to announce that this year’s sale will be held in person at the Aurora Fair Grounds on April 1-2, 2022. Check your email for more information

The Nurture Committee continues to fund a $100 GIFTING PROGRAM.  If you know of someone who could benefit from receiving $100, contact Christian, Steve, Becky, or Ron. We will discuss and hand you a $100 bill for you to present to that person of need. All youth and adults may apply.

SHOP HOURS will be on Zoom from 4-5p Wednesday on the Zoom Shop Link. I hope to move toward an in-person option as well in coming weeks (there are lots of projects to make:-).

There will be a CATECHISM CLASS this winter/spring. Please contact me if you or one of your family members is interested in participating. There will be a couple in-person sessions and, more than likely, it will mostly be on Zoom.

We will have a session or two where we talk about church membership, so others who are interested can participate.

Please consider donating a month of your time to teach Sunday school for the wonderful group of lower and upper elementary kids in Feb, Mar, April, or May. To volunteer or get more information about teaching, please contact Sara Weber.

CONFREENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for your sister churches in South Dakota: Sermon on the Mount in Sioux Falls and Bethany, Hutterthal, Salem, and Salem-Zion in Freeman, and The House Church of Freeman.
