FMC will be assembling QUILTS at 9a on Saturday, March 5. You don't have to be able to sew. This is putting bottom fabric, taping all four sides to the table, batting, top fabric, and putting safety pins in all over to hold it together. Any help is appreciated. Also, full-size thin batting is needed. Please contact Joyce for more info.
We will continue to collect our 1st QUARTERLY MISSION OFFERING, split between Mennonite Church USA (which includes Mennonite Mission Network) and Mennonite Central Committee.
THE NEBRASKA MENNONITE RELIEF SALE Board is happy to announce that this year’s sale will be held in person at the Aurora Fair Grounds on April 1-2, 2022. Check your email for more information
Thank you so much for your TECH FUND DONATIONS last fall. With these donations and some ear-marked funds, we were able to make some much-needed upgrades to the technology at church, which makes running worship easier, and makes church accessible with Zoom. We purchased the following: New computer for the Tech Deck, Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera for the back of the sanctuary, 2 microphones for Announcements and Sharing, Webcam for the front of the sanctuary, Webcam for the Library class, 2 full Zoom Classroom setups
The Nurture Committee continues to fund a $100 GIFTING PROGRAM. If you know of someone who could benefit from receiving $100, contact Christian, Steve, Becky, or Ron. We will discuss and hand you a $100 bill for you to present to that person of need. All youth and adults may apply.
SHOP HOURS will be on Zoom from 4-5p Wednesday. I hope to move toward an in-person option as well in coming weeks (there are lots of projects to make:-).
There will be a CATECHISM CLASS this winter/spring. Please contact me if you or one of your family members is interested in participating. There will be a couple in-person sessions and, more than likely, it will mostly be on Zoom.
We will have a session or two where we talk about church membership, so others who are interested can participate.
On MONDAY EVENINGS we will show "The Chosen" videos in the sanctuary. Tentatively, we will begin at 6:30 pm on March 7. If you have questions, please contact Ron.
Please consider donating a month of your time to teach Sunday school for the wonderful group of lower and upper elementary kids in Feb, Mar, April, or May. To volunteer or get more information about teaching, please contact Sara Weber.
FMC has established a MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE FUND. If you would have further questions about the fund, we would encourage you to contact Christian Mukuna, Rick Stauffer, Dallas Schlegel, Jim Buller, Joel Mpolesha, or Dave Nickel.
CONFREENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the good and peace-filled work of the Agape Peace Center and the Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute, both in Minnesota.
