Announcements

Next week we will read John 2:13-25 and collect our January birthday/anniversary offering.

FMC members/visitors have an option to wear or not wear a mask in the building. Unvaccinated individuals are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to continue the practice of wearing masks. Please also note:

-If an individual that has visited FMC tests positive for COVID, please contact an Elder, and FMC will send out an email that states: “A member/visitor at FMC on _______ date tested positive for COVID on ______ date” to attenders. The Elder will only release your name if you give consent.

-If you test positive, or are around someone who has, please follow the CDC Guidelines for quarantine and close-contact definitions: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolati...

-For folks who are more comfortable with the Zoom, we will continue to offer this option.

PLEASE CONSIDER donating a month of your time to teach Sunday school for the wonderful group of lower and upper elementary kids in Feb, Mar, April, or May. To volunteer or get more information about teaching, please contact Sara Weber.

 

ANNUAL MEETING – We hope to see you at the Annual Meeting at FMC on Wednesday, January 19th at 7pm.

 

VOTE - We will have several opportunities to vote at the annual meeting:

-Send 2022 Quarterly Mission Offering nominations to the Outreach Comm (Tammy R, Kristopher N, Wanda S). We also welcome Birthday offering nominations.

-Send 2022 Theme Verse nominations to Sheri (for the elders).

-Send Elder nominations to Becky (for gifts discernment).

 

CUSTODIAN – We are looking to fill the Custodian position for the next year or so. Please contact Caleb T or Chad B with any questions.

 

MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE - FMC has established a Mortgage Assistance Fund. If you would have further questions about the fund, we would encourage you to contact Christian Mukuna, Rick Stauffer, Dallas Schlegel, Jim Buller, Joel Mpolesha, or Dave Nickel. 

 

SHARING FUND - We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Becky, and/or Ron.

 

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - We continue to pray for those who are most vulnerable in our communities. May God open our eyes to the possibilities for love and for protection of the least of these among us--and may we be willing to heed God's call.
