Monthly fact: Leadership: Central Plains Mennonite Conference calls and equips pastors and congregational leaders with missional vision and leadership skills for the church.  Fellowship: Central Plains Mennonite congregations develop loving relationships with one another, as well as with Christians across the church and around the world, to discern a common way of life as a contrast society.

Birthday/Anniversary Offering: Lulu’s on N -

Monthly fact: “We are providing case management assistance on an as-needed basis. If you are looking to get in touch with someone at LuLu's on N regarding case management services, please call or email us. Of course, you are also welcome to stop by during normal business hours.”

We will begin to construct our "diaper tree" for the Center for People in Need (our third/final holiday donation drive... help the tree grow tall by 12/26).

Next week we will read Isaiah 55:1-13.

MASKS - Please wear a mask in our building.  For folks who are more comfortable with the Zoom option. Please talk to Chad or me with questions or concerns.  And thanks, all, for your patience as we try to be accommodating and caring:-)

DAILY BREAD – The new devotional booklets are available near the front door.

We are in need of Sunday School teachers for February, March, April, and May of 2022. Please consider donating a month of your time to teach the wonderful group of lower and upper elementary kids. To volunteer or get more information about teaching, please contact Sara Weber.

Worship is better with participation from many people. Please talk to Glen if you're willing to help lead worship, Anita if you're willing to help lead music, Stan if you're willing to provide a children's story, or me if you're willing to participate in another way. Polish is not necessary, sincerity is key, more voices are better:-)

FMC has established a Mortgage Assistance Fund. If you would have further questions about the fund, we would encourage you to contact Christian Mukuna, Rick Stauffer, Dallas Schlegel, Jim Buller, Joel Mpolesha, or Dave Nickel.

Nurture commission is looking for greeters and drivers. Please sign up on the bulletin board just inside the door to the fellowship hall.

First Mennonite Church has helped numerous individuals with financial assistance in 2021.  Our faith based partner, Everence, matched $1500 given to people in need over the last year.  If you want to learn more, please contact Rick Stauffer, our Everence Stewardship Advocate.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - We continue to pray for those who are most vulnerable in our communities in this strange time, as in all times. May God open our eyes to the possibilities for love and for protection of the least of these among us--and may we be willing to heed God's call.
