MASKS - Please wear a mask in our building.  For folks who are more comfortable with the Zoom option. Please talk to Chad or me with questions or concerns.  And thanks, all, for your patience as we try to be accommodating and caring:-)

 

YAMS & STUFFING - We have 10 (of 100) cans of yams and 6 (of 200) boxes of stuffing for City Mission. Please put them at the back of the sanctuary, and the kids will bring them to the front of the sanctuary during offering time. We will deliver next Monday, Nov 15, so next Sunday will be the last for the collection.

 

ALL-SAINTS - An "all-saints remembrance service" will be at 7p on November 10. It will be an opportunity to support one another and especially folks who have lost loved ones during the pandemic. We will collectively and/or personally name people who have died (loved ones, neighbors, strangers).

**If you would like the worship leader to include a particular name in our reading of the names, please reply to this message. If you would prefer to say their name aloud yourself, you will be invited to call out names at an appointed time in the service. There will also be sharing time for short-ish stories and reflections.

There will also be a couple scriptures and a couple songs, and there will be a time during the service to light a candle as a way to remember the dead.

 

CAN YOU HELP? - Nurture commission is looking for greeters and drivers. If anyone would be willing, please sign up on the bulletin board just inside the door to the fellowship hall.

 

SHARING FUND - We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Becky, and/or Ron.

 

SMALL GROUPS –Small Groups meeting at FMC:

 Small group meeting the first and third Wednesday of each month. 7:00pm. at FMC. Studying “Tongue-tied, Learning the Lost Art of Talking about Faith,  by Sara Wenger Shenk.

Retiree small group meeting the first Tuesday if every month at 12:00 noon. Bring your own lunch.

 

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Today we pray for the chaplains who are a part of CPMC. We give thanks for the myriad of ways in which they are present in people's lives, listening and sharing God's love.
