Monthly fact: “The PCM Free Medical Clinic exists to offer physical, emotional, and spiritual healing to hurting people in Lancaster County, Nebraska, who lack medical insurance or the ability to pay for health care. Located just north of People’s City Mission, the Free Medical Clinic provides dental, chiropractic, and mental wellness care to uninsured residents of Lancaster County, filling gaps in the existing medical network where it is difficult to meet needs of low-income uninsured residents as quickly as necessary.”

CHOIR - Bethesda Mennonite Church adult choir in Henderson is going to begin practicing the Messiah this Wed Sept 29th from 8 to 9.  The performance with the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and guest soloist's will be on Sunday Dec 19th.  They would welcome any singers for all 4 parts.  Contact Wade if interested.

MDS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) calls for volunteers with a heart for service and an attitude of flexibility. Volunteers are needed in Paradise, California; Jennings, Louisiana; McAllen, Texas as well as other work sites organized by local Units. MDS is seeking volunteers who, while eager to get back out there, must be ready to roll with both safety precautions and schedule changes as COVID-19 cases fluctuate. Contact MDS to learn more.

As these projects prepare to open, MDS wants volunteers to know that we are working to make sure that they have a meaningful experience and that it is as safe as possible.


TECH – Our 13 year old tech deck could use some upgrades, especially to make projection and Zoom easier and more efficient to run. Donations have been coming in.  If you'd like to contribute to this project financially, please put a check in the offering, memo line "Tech."
