Birthday/Anniversary Offering: Lulu’s on N -

Monthly fact: In addition to the free community meals, LuLu's on N offers other services to those in need. “We rely heavily on donations for the majority of our funding. We wouldn't be able to offer these services without the support of those who believe in our mission.” Community meal = $5 per meal.  31-day bus pass = $8.  Hygiene kit filled with personal care items = $12.  Month of discretionary spending (prescriptions, clothing, utility bills) = $100

NEXT WEEK we will read Galatians 5:16-26 and Jeanette will share during the Sunday School hour. She will share about her summer experiences out East with the Amish, including photos and stories about how they worship, how they conduct a Haiti Benefit Auction (similar to our MCC relief sales), and the remarkable things they do in response to child abuse, like provide foster care and adoption for children and form and implement crisis teams.
