2nd Quarterly Mission Offering: Foster Care Closet -

Monthy fact: FCC met their ‘Give to Lincoln’ goal of $36,000 for The Foster Haven renovations, which includes updating the space for the children, creating a coffeehouse workspace for caseworkers, and providing homelike visitation rooms for families working toward reunification.

Donations – FMC raised $1,680 that was doubled on “Give to Lincoln” day.


Birthday/Anniversary Offering: Lulu’s on N -

Monthly fact: “Food Distributions in the community are a part of what your donations help us to do.  Last year, we served almost 4,000 meals free of charge and gave out about 1,000 bags of groceries to families and individuals experiencing food insecurity.  Every dollar donated goes to support our mission of feeding the body and soul of our neighbors in need.”

Donations to date:  $809 



COFFEE – We have started serving coffee again.  Please either bring your own cup or use a church cup, rinse it, and put it in the dishwasher.

DRIVERS NEEDED - Nurture Committee is looking for a few more drivers for one or several of our attendees to and from church on Sunday mornings. If you would be willing/able to cover a month or at least be a substitute, please contact Steve Nitzsche.

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.


Join the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions (at Eastern Mennonite University) sponsored 17 college-age bicycle riders for lunch on July 1, and an evening climate issue panel discussion on the lawn.  Ride with them out of town on the morning of July 2.


CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - On this Sunday when we share a virtual Worship Service and Communion across the conference as part of our Annual Meeting, we give thanks for all of our brothers and sisters in CPMC, and for the work of each of our conference churches in their various contexts!
