Monthy fact: FCC met their ‘Give to Lincoln’ goal of $36,000 for The Foster Haven renovations, which includes updating the space for the children, creating a coffeehouse workspace for caseworkers, and providing homelike visitation rooms for families working toward reunification.
Donations – FMC raised $1,680 that was doubled on“Give to Lincoln” day.

Monthly fact: “Food Distributions in the community are a part of what your donations help us to do. Last year, we served almost 4,000 meals free of charge and gave out about 1,000 bags of groceries to families and individuals experiencing food insecurity. DRIVERS NEEDED - Nurture Committee continues to look for drivers for one or several of our attendees to and from church on Sunday mornings. They would like to get it covered through the end of the year. Months that are still needed are August, October, November, and December. Join the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions (at Eastern Mennonite University) sponsored 17 college-age bicycle riders for lunch on July 1, and an evening climate issue panel discussion on the lawn. Ride with them out of town on the morning of July 2.
