THANK YOU to the many different people who helped with painting of the Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary.  Big projects mean time spent working, but also time spent together talking, catching-up with each other and building relationships. We are hopeful that both were accomplished! Thanks! From the Trustees.

DRIVERS - Now that in-church services have resumed, Nurture Committee is looking for drivers for one or several of our attendees to and from church on Sunday mornings. Can you cover a month or at least be a substitute, please contact Steve Nitzsche.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be Saturday, July 10th, from 9AM-12PM.  Preschool through 5th grade children are invited to attend this fun event.  Please RSVP with the child's name and current grade to Jeana Rose at jeana.ott [at] gmail.com by May 9th.

FOODNET - The First Mennonite Foodnet Committee--Beverly, Thad, Julie, and Dallas--- continues to seek volunteers. You can also help by saving Best Choice UPC barcode labels (Beverley in charge of these) and to bring standard plastic/paper grocery bags. Remember, we want "herd involvement".

MCC HYGIENE KITS -  We filled 83 hygiene kits for MCC. Thanks to all who donated.

CHURCH PICNIC - We are planning a church picnic after the service on June 6, and are trying to organize it safely. Please talk to one of the elders (Sheri, Rick, Dallas) or Pastor Dave with suggestions, questions or concerns, and we'll do our best to organize.

MINI-AUCTION - At the church picnic, Outreach is planning to have several items to bid on as a silent mini-auction with the proceeds going to Mennonite Central Committee... more details to follow.

SHARING FUND - We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the work of the Pastoral Leadership Committee of Central Plains Mennonite Conference. We pray for wisdom and courage as they develop and walk alongside both new and experienced pastoral leaders.
