MOWING SCHEDULE - Wade and Caleb are working on the 2021 mowing schedule... please contact them if you'd like to be added to the rotation. More info to follow.

DRIVERS - Now that in-church services have resumed, Nurture Committee is looking for drivers for one or several of our attendees to and from church on Sunday mornings. Can you cover a month or at least be a substitute, please contact Steve Nitzsche.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be Saturday, July 10th, from 9AM-12PM at First Mennonite Church.  Preschool through 5th grade children are invited to attend this fun event.  Please RSVP with the child's name and current grade to Jeana Rose at jeana.ott [at] gmail.com by May 9th.

FOODNET begins this Thursday, May 6! The First Mennonite Foodnet Committee--Beverly, Thad, Julie, and Dallas--- will be in the Fellowship Hall after church on Sunday to sign up volunteers.  We need Drivers in the morning, Sorters during the day, and people to help with Shopping from 5-6, Cleanup after 6.  (You are allowed to do more than one job!!).

Other ways you can help now are to save Best Choice UPC bar code labels (Beverly in charge of these), and to bring standard plastic/paper grocery bags and boxes that could hold 12 cans of pop. Remember, we want "herd involvement".

MCC HYGIENE KITS -  Thank you to everyone who brought items to fill hygiene kits.  Last I counted, we had over 70 kits filled.

CHURCH PICNIC - We are tentatively planning a church picnic after the service on June 6, and are trying to organize having it safely. Please talk to one of the elders (Sheri, Rick, Dallas) or myself with questions or concerns, and we'll do our best to organize.

SHARING FUND - We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

PLEASE continue to be extra intentional in connecting. Physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the work of the Christian Formation Committee of Central Plains Mennonite Conference. We pray for wisdom and courage as they help us to be intentional and to think theologically about Christian formation for all ages.
