Time of Offering
Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power (not ours), in the “military” disciplines of love, service, grace, truth, righteousness, sharing in suffering, and proclaiming the gospel of peace.
Verse for 2021
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 NIV
Ne t’ai-je pas donné cet ordre: Fortifie-toi et prends courage? Ne t’effraie point et ne t’épouvante point, car l’Éternel, ton Dieu, est avec toi dans tout ce que tu entreprendras.

THANK YOU - I would like to thank everyone that prayed for me for the last many weeks. Thank you for the cards, texts, flowers, and meals. So many people kept me in their prayers, and cared for what Kerm and I were going through. Thank you for getting me back home. - Linda and Kerm Wegner

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Drive-By-Visits. Our first visit was on January 9th, when we visited 7 houses with 4 cars and 10 people on a very cold morning. On February 27th, we had 7 cars and 16 people. The visits and snacks were well received. Looking forward to our next visit this month!
We are collecting for My Coins Count. Get your coins to kids who participate in children's stories, and we'll figure out how to record them making noise on the coin contraption in my backyard.
Due to the uncertainty of Covid-19 infections, the Nebraska MCC sale board has decided to have an online auction on March 27, 2021. Please check the newly updated website: nebraskamccsale.org to register donated craft items and quilts auction items for the on-line sale. Here's a new info sheet. There are also great reusable bags at the church for sale ($10) to support the sale.
We are planning to start a hygiene kit drive (https://mcc.org/get-involved/kits/hygiene) later this month... please stay tuned for more information
We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.
