We learn who God is from people who act like the “prodigal son”, and when we recognize ourselves to be “prodigal sons/daughters”.

Dallas thanks you for all your thoughts and prayers when he was in the hospital. He is home, recovering, and appreciates continued prayers.

Sunday morning will be Zoom only: Sunday school will be at 9:30, and there will be a "fellowship break" at 10:30. Worship will be at 10:45. The meeting will be "open" from 9:15a-12:15p. We will read Luke 15:1-2,11-32.

Next week Gordon will have the message, kicking off our 2021 theme verse: Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Drive-By-Visits. Our first visit was on January 9th, when we visited 7 houses with 4 cars and 10 people on a very cold morning.  On February 27th, we had 7 cars and 16 people. The visits and snacks were well received. Looking forward to our next visit this month!

We are collecting for My Coins Count. Get your coins to kids who participate in children's stories, and we'll figure out how to record them making noise on the coin contraption in my backyard.

Due to the uncertainty of Covid-19 infections, the Nebraska MCC sale board has decided to have an online auction on March 27, 2021. Please check the newly updated website: nebraskamccsale.org to register donated craft items and quilts auction items  for the on-line sale. Here's a new info sheet. There are also great reusable bags at the church for sale ($10) to support the sale.

We are planning to start a hygiene kit drive (https://mcc.org/get-involved/kits/hygiene) later this month... please stay tuned for more information

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

Pastor Dave will be out of town Thursday, so there will not be shop hours.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for Chelsea Vaught as she is installed and licensed for ministry at Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson, NE as the Pastor of Worship and Congregational Care. We ask that God would bless her ministry at and with Bethesda MC.
