Average folks in sinking boats follow Jesus by partnering together.

Sunday morning will be Zoom only: Sunday school will be at 9:30. There will be a "fellowship break" at 10:30. Worship will be at 10:45. The meeting will be "open" from 9:15a-12:15p. We will read Luke 5:1-11 and celebrate communion on World Fellowship Sunday:-)

Next week CiCi from Transformations thrift store will have a good news in outreach and we will read Luke 6:1-16.

Dave Nickel is working on a tech rotation, looking for folks who would be willing to

  1) run zoom and/or

  2) run proclaim during our Sunday services.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping give breaks to Adam and Kathy B. (both of whom we appreciate greatly:-).

Thanks to everyone who submitted reports, participated, voted, etc. for our annual meeting. The annual budget passed,

The new elder is Dallas Schlegel.

The 2021 quarterly mission offering recipients are: Foster Care Closet, People's City Mission, and Central Plains Mennonite Conference.

The 2021 theme verse is Joshua 1:9

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

The shop will be "open" for shop hours on Thursdays. We are meeting virtually on Zoom. Stop by to chat if you'd like.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting. Physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Today is Mennonite World Fellowship Sunday.  On January 21, 1525, the first Anabaptist baptism took place in Zurich, Switzerland. Today we give thanks for our common roots, celebrate our worldwide fellowship, and look to God's guidance for the future.
