Announcements

Sunday morning will be Zoom only: Sunday school will be at 9:30. There will be a "fellowship break" at 10:30. Worship will be at 10:45. The meeting will be "open" from 9:15a-12:15p. Cynthia Lapp (Anita's sister-in-law) will have our message and we will read 1 Samuel 3:1-10 and excerpts from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's "Letter from a Birmingham jail."

Next week we will read Luke 5:1-11 and celebrate communion.

We Welcome All for Communion Services during Sunday Zoom Worship Service, January 24.  Bread and Juice are available for pickup at the church.  We've decided to use zwiebach (pronounced toy-bok) for the bread along with the individual juice cups used for last communion.  They will be available as early as the Sunday before with the bread in the freezer.  KEEP BREAD FROZEN until the night before the service, then set them out on the counter to let them slowly thaw overnight. Delivery also available; contact Dave Nickel or Glen Riedel.

I am working on a tech rotation, looking for folks who would be willing to

  1) run zoom and/or

  2) run proclaim during our Sunday services.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping give breaks to Adam and Kathy B. (both of whom we appreciate greatly:-).

Sunday we will send out annual reports, our 2021 budget, and a link to vote on elder, theme verse, and quarterly mission offering recipients. Our annual meeting will be on Zoom Wednesday at 7p.

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

The shop will be "open" for shop hours on Thursdays. We are meeting virtually on Zoom. Stop by to chat if you'd like.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting. Physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - We give thanks for all the relationships in our congregations and in our conference that sustain us, guide us, and help us to see the Kingdom of God!
