Announcements

Sunday morning will be Zoom only: Sunday school will be at 9:30. There will be a "fellowship break" at 10:30. Worship will be at 10:45. The meeting will be "open" from 9:15a-12:15p. We will read Luke 2:39-52.

Next week we will read Luke 3:1-22.

Due to icy roads, we have postponed our first FMC drive-by... more details will be forthcoming.

I am working on a tech rotation, looking for folks who would be willing to

  1) run zoom and/or

  2) run proclaim during our Sunday services.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping give breaks to Adam and Kathy B. (both of whom we appreciate greatly:-).

We delivered 3263 diapers to the Center for People in Need on Monday. Thank you so much for supporting their diaper drive:-)

In January we will be voting on a new Elder as Anita's term is coming to an end. Please begin to consider those in the congregation you could nominate to serve in this position for the next three years. Current elders are Anita, Rick, and Sheri. Please contact a member of the gifts discernment committee (Julie, Becky, or Jolene).

We will also select a 2021 theme verse. Please send nominations to Sheri Nitzsche.

We are seeking nominations for our 2021 quarterly mission offerings. Please send your nominations to Kathy Boshart.

This is the last weekend to participate in the First Mennonite 2021 Giving Commitment Survey. Your surveys will be kept confidential with only the Treasurer accessing these records. Send questions/comments to Tim Balzer.

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

The shop will be "open" for shop hours on Thursdays. We are meeting virtually on Zoom. Stop by to chat if you'd like.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting. Physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - We give thanks for the year that is gone (hard as it was!), and pray for a new year of spiritual growth, deeper love, and greater discipleship in each of our lives and in our congregations.
