God uses unexpected people and events to redirect our misplaced hope.

Sunday morning we will have another hybrid worship service on Zoom.

Sunday school will be at 9:30.

There will be a "fellowship break" at 10:30

 Worship will be at 10:45.

The building will be open for those who wish to have Sunday school on site.

We will read 1 Sam 1:9-11,19-20; 2:1-10 in worship.

Next Sunday we will read parts of 2 Samuel 7:1-17 in worship.

Leadership board and elders worked together to update our safe worship guidelines. The main changes are:

-opening the building to Sunday school and small group meetings

 -quiet singing in the sanctuary

They full guidelines are attached. Please look over them and talk to Chad (leadership board chair) or Anita (chair of the elders) with questions or concerns.

We will have another all church small group at 4p Sunday. The plan is in  to meet in the yard at FMC (please bring your masks and lawn chairs), but the weather isn't looking great at present, so we may change it to virtual. This would happen Sunday morning... please stay tuned.

The meeting will be a time to check-in with one another about life, worship, small groups etc.

Gifts Discernment is looking to fill two positions: primary Sunday school superintendent and worship committee member. If you would like more information or would be willing to fill one of these positions please contact Brett, Julie, or Becky.

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

So far in 2020, Everence has returned funds to our FMC Sharing fund:

$250 of $500 donated to the Foster Care Closet

$247 of $494 donated to Habitat for Humanity

$1050 of $2100 shared with individuals in need

Thank you FMC and Everence for supporting our Sharing Fund.

The shop will continue to be "open" for shop hours Thursday from 3-6. We are meeting virtually on Zoom. Stop by to chat if you'd like.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting in order to fight social isolation: physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for CPMC ministry staff as they travel. May they be safe on the road and in each congregation.
