God keeps promises, and our doing so serves as a witness.

Sunday morning we will have another hybrid worship service online on Zoom.:

The building will be open at 10:20

The Zoom meeting will be "open" from 9:15a-12:30p.

We will read parts of Genesis 15:1-6 and collect the August-September birthday offering.

Next Sunday Steve Ratzlaff will have the message from Luke 6, and we will commission new workers.

Several of us will gather for a bike ride Saturday, Sept 26 to support MCC. We will meet in the FMC parking lot at 11a, take the MoPac east (out and back), and gather after the ride (1:30ish) for pizza, so bring a water bottle, a lawnchair, and a mask so we can safely partake (you don't have to ride to eat, just come hang out at 1:30:-). Also bring a check written out to "MCC" if you'd like to support the cause.

Gifts Discernment is looking to fill two positions:

Primary Sunday School Superintendent is vacant and is only a 1 year term. Wanda ordered new materials for the fall so we are looking for someone to take over for those who have already generously given much of their time planning classes for our kids during most of 2020 already.

Worship Committee has a vacancy, a 3 year term.

If you would like more information or would be willing to fill one of these positions please contact Brett, Julie, or Becky.

In anticipating the new Mennonite hymnal, Voices Together, you can listen to some demonstration songs.  Go to and search "Voices Together demo."  You might try listening to:

“I will sing"

“Sanna Sannanina"

“Touch the earth lightly”

Or find another one you especially like and we can sing it together.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting in order to fight social isolation: physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world.

We have a sharing fund to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on the nurture commission: Steve, Julie, and/or Ron.

For those of you thinking about worshipping in our building, please read our attached full guidelines.

The shop will continue to be "open" for shop hours Thursday from 3-6. We are meeting virtually on Zoom. Stop by to chat if you'd like.
