Sunday we will have another hybrid worship service:

The Zoom meeting will be "open" from 9:15a-12:30p.

The building will be open at 10:20

 We will read Luke 18:1-8.

Next Sunday Jeanette and several others from the congregation will have a message entitled: "overcoming adversity with prayer and community." We will read Isaiah 30:18-21,23-26.

For those of you thinking about worshipping in our building, please read our attached full guidelines. Please contact Anita, Tim, Sabrina, or me with questions or concerns.

Thanks to those who shared Wednesday evening.  Sabrina is planning one more virtual gathering for FMC to share about our congregational backgrounds, especially from our childhood. Please be thinking about your own congregational history in preparation for a virtual gathering soon.

Worship committee is working on a series on hope/encouragement . If you appreciate a particular, hopeful scripture, please send me a message. We plan to have a lot of congregational involvement in the services on August 30 and September 6. If you would like to read and/or offer a short testimony... we would appreciate it.

The elders are working on a series of discussion questions to kick off another year of small groups. There will be discussion questions for three sessions, hopefully beginning in late August or early September. We encourage groups to discern together whether they want to meet together in person or virtually as well as other logistics. If you're not in a small group and would like to be, please contact Anita or Rick soon.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting in order to fight social isolation: physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world.

We have a healthy sharing fund. We want to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on nurture commission or leadership board. We will work to maintain the confidentiality of requests.

The shop will continue to be "open" for shop hours Thursday from 3-6. We are meeting virtually on Zoom. Stop by to chat if you'd like.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST -    Pray for Stephen Griffen as he is installed for ministry at Bellwood Mennonite Church, Milford, NE. We ask that God would bless his ministry at and with Bellwood.
