Focus Verse

Worship is one of the primary ways we wait on the Lord, and one of the primary ways God renews us.

Sunday we'll have our first hybrid worship service. The building will be open at 10:20, and the Zoom meeting will be "open" from 8:45a-12:30p. Please be in communication w/ your classes about Sunday school. We will read Isaiah 40:25-41:1.

Next Sunday's scripture is to be determined, and we'll collect the March-July birthday offerings (for Foster Care Closet).

Please contact Anita, Tim, Sabrina, or me with questions or concerns.

Sunday school materials and other materials for yourself/family are available electronically at for kids or here for anyone.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting in order to fight social isolation: physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world. Please be safe and get together, maybe with 10 or so folks from your small group or Sunday school class, outside with some distance between yourselves.  I've been to a few of these gatherings recently, and the company has been wonderful... let's gather more:-)

Beginning in early August, the elders will prepare a series of discussion questions to kick off another year of small groups.  We will have more details soon, and ask that, if you're not in a small group and would like to be, please contact Anita or Rick (they will also be seeking to identify contact people for our five small groups from last year).

We have made some distributions, but still have a healthy sharing fund.  We want to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on nurture commission or leadership board. We will work to maintain the confidentiality of requests.

The shop will continue to be "open" for shop hours Thursdays from 3-6. We are meeting virtually on Zoom Stop by to chat if you'd like.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the work of our camps, Swan Lake Christian Camp and Crooked Creek Christian Camp, as they creatively share God's creation.
