Sunday the Zoom meeting will be "open" from 9:15a-12:30p on Zoom. Please join a Sunday school class, then worship will begin at 10:30a. We will read 1 Thess. 5:12-28.

Next Sunday we will read our theme verse Isaiah 40:31, and will try our first Zoom + in-person hybrid worship service. Our guidelines are attached, and we will have a French translation of the guidelines next Tuesday. Please contact Anita, Tim, Sabrina, or me with questions or concerns.

Also, please discuss plans for your Sunday school class meeting next week as some folks may need a few minutes to drive to 7300 Holdrege.

Sunday school materials and other materials for yourself/family are available electronically at www.ShineCurriculum.com/ShineAtHome for kids or here for anyone.

Please continue to be extra intentional in connecting in order to fight social isolation: physical distance is not equal to social isolation. Let's love our neighbors around the area and world. Please be safe and get together, maybe with 10 or so folks from your small group or Sunday school class, outside with some distance between yourselves.  I've been to a few of these gatherings recently, and the company has been wonderful:-)

Beginning in early August, the elders will prepare a series of discussion questions to kick off another year of small groups.  We will have more details soon, and ask that, if you're not in a small group and would like to be, please contact Anita or Rick (they will also be seeking to identify contact people for our five small groups from last year).

We have made some distributions, but still have a healthy sharing fund.  We want to assist our members as well as those more loosely connected w/ us who are struggling with financial hardship. Please speak with someone on nurture commission or leadership board. We will work to maintain the confidentiality of requests.

The treasurer is collecting offering during this time away from regular in person worship services.  Any questions should be directed to Brett.

The shop will continue to be "open" for shop hours Thursdays from 3-6. We are meeting virtually on Zoom. Stop by to chat if you'd like.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST -     Pray for all those Central Plains Mennonite Conference volunteers who were affirmed to new committees and task groups at our Annual Meeting in June. May the mission and witness of the Kingdom of God through CPMC be enlivened by the energy and wisdom of those willing to serve.
