Announcements

Sunday worship will begin at 10:30a on Zoom. This is the link: https://zoom.us/j/379164091 (meeting ID:379 164 091). After the "formal" service, Sunday school will follow. We will read Psalm 24:1-2 and Mark 11:1-12 in worship. The kids will be waving branches, so you might want to have one as well:-)

Next Sunday we will read from Mark 16:1-8 and virtually celebrate Easter.

Sunday school materials and other materials for yourself/family are available electronically at www.ShineCurriculum.com/ShineAtHome for kids of here for adults... or talk with Kathy H with questions. Free resources are uploaded Wednesdays at 2p (Eastern, I think).

The treasurer will still be collecting weekly offering during this time away from regular in person worship services. Feel free to drop off or mail donations to the church at 7300 Holdrege St, Lincoln, NE 68505. Donations can also be automatically deducted from your bank account on a weekly or monthly basis. Lastly, you can make donations through our PayPal account using our email of treasurer [at] fmclincoln.org. There is a link for PayPal donations on the church's website under the "Donation" tab. Keep in mind we do pay a processing fee to PayPal so checks and ACH are preferred. Any questions should be directed to Brett.

We are planning to have a Good Friday service of reading and reflection at 7:30p on April 10. Here's the invitation information: https://zoom.us/j/673532475
(Meeting ID: 673 532 475). For added ambiance, please have 6 candles to light and extinguish as we proceed through the service. If you'd be willing to read and/or play a song on an instrument, please let me know.

It's important for us to find ways to share our lives together, in order to sustain each other with friendship. Please continue to support one another. It's important to be intentional in showing one another the love of Jesus in these confusing and potentially isolating times.

How do we show one another we care? It seems like staying home is the number one option... and then Zoom and the phone are our ways to communicate. Also, I'm thinking if the weather gets nicer, I'd love to go for a bike ride or sit in a park with you (w/ 10'+ in between us) if you'd appreciate that. Let me know if you're interested.

The elders and I would love to chat with you and/or pray with you. Please connect with Anita, Rick, Sheri, or me if you'd appreciate this.

The shop will continue to be warm for shop hours Thursdays from 3-8 (though we usually take a supper break around 6p). We are meeting virtually at: https://zoom.us/j/570427348 (Meeting ID: 570 427 348). Stop by to chat if you'd like.

For those participating in our Bible study on The Gospel According to Mark, please read Mark 13-16 with the guiding question: "What strange details does Mark include in this passion account?"

Kathy B has a digital copy of the 2019-20 FMC directory for you if you'd likem email her.
