YAMS AND STUFFING - We have begun collecting yams and stuffing for the Thanksgiving baskets for People's City Mission. Please see the table in the fellowship hall for goals and progress.
S'MORES AND BONFIRES! If you enjoy cool, fall evenings, bonfires and s'mores, then come on out to Rick and Wanda Stauffer's (4701 Mandarin Cir) tonight at 5:00pm. There will be grilled hot dogs, s'mores and more. We will roast marshmallows, play lawn games, and enjoy friends. No rain date. Bring a lawn chair and the following: If your last name begins with: A-L chips. M-R veggies or fruit, S-Z bars or cookies.
At ALL-CHURCH SMALL GROUP on Wednesday we were able to knot 5 1/2 comforters: thank you to the organizers and those who tied knots. One comforter is still set up in the fellowship hall if you have more time to knot. Please think of it as a way to give hope and comfort: it provides not only warmth but also a tangible message to people that their needs are not forgotten. We will have another knotting session in January.
TRUNK OR TREAT – The Outreach Commission needs you! Can you decorate your "trunk" and help us serve our neighbors? Let your imagination run wild! We had 11 "trunks" This year our goal is 15-20. Wednesday, October 30th 6-7pm. Setup starts at 5:30 pm. Signup in the Fellowship Hall.
CANDY DRIVE - We are collecting candy to give out during our Trunk or Treat event on October 30th. Last year we had over 150 kids. Please help us have enough to share.

I hope to have a few updates to share with you during this time, and hope to take part in an all church small group 11/20 w/ pictures from the trip. – Pastor Dave
