IT’S A BOY! - Danny and Marthe Tshibangu welcomed their baby boy, Joseph Tshimbombo Tshibangu on August 29th at 1:45pm. Baby Joseph weighs 7lbs 4oz. Marthe and Joseph are doing well. Please keep the family in your prayers.

 

BIBLES - Studying Scripture is one of the most important ways we learn about God. FMC presents Bibles to each second grade student to support their growing faith development. If your child is in second grade or above and has not yet received a Bible, please let Kathy Haake know.   

 

CAN YOU HELP - Ruth and Evrett have some potatoes to donate, and wonder if there would be some volunteers available next week to pick them (they'll be dug) and drop them off at an appropriate charity. Please talk to Dallas if you'd be interested.

MCC Relief Kits

The supplies that MCC sends around the world offer comfort to families facing disaster or crisis. They’re also a tangible way you can share God’s love and compassion, reminding people that their needs are not forgotten.  Relief kits provide valuable supplies to families whose lives have been disrupted by war or disaster.

During worship in September, we’ll be gathering supplies for MCC Relief Kits during children’s time.  To participate, please bring the following NEW items on these dates:

September 8:

    4 new bath towels (medium weight, dark or bright colors; approx.. 29 in x 60 in)

September 15

    4 large bars bath soap (leave in wrapper)

    Shampoo (1 or 2 bottles, totaling more than 20 oz; place in resealable plastic bag)

    4 large bars laundry soap (such as Fels Naptha, Sunlight, or Zote brands)

September 22:

     4 adult-size toothbrushes (in manufacturer’s packaging)

     2 wide-toothed combs (6-8 in)

     1 nail clipper (good quality)

September 29:

     1 box adhesive bandages (minimum 40, assorted)

     Sanitary pads (THIN; 1 or 2 packages, minimum 28 pads total)
