COFFEE – Pastor Dave will be at Panera (62nd & O) next week for coffee on Wednesday (9:30-11:30a): please come for a chat or email to set up coffee or lunch some other time.

 

IT’S A BOY! - Danny and Marthe Tshibangu welcomed their baby boy, Joseph Tshimbombo Tshibangu today, August 29th at 1:45pm. Baby Joseph weighs 7lbs 4oz. Marthe and Joseph are doing well. Please keep the family in your prayers.

 

COFFEE - The Ladies Coffee is starting back up, the second Monday of the month. All are welcome Sept. 9, 9:30am at Wanda Stauffer’s home. 

 

CENTRAL PLAINS WOMEN'S RETREAT is Sept 21-22 at Swan Lake.  Please see the poster on the bulletin board, and talk to Laura Nickel for more information.

 

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUESTS - Next weekend in Freeman, South Dakota, the Central Plains conference board will meet jointly with the Christian Formation, Pastoral Leadership, Outreach & Service and Discernment Committees. Pray for these meetings and for Shawn Nolt, who is our new moderator.

 

MCC RELIEF KITS - During worship in September, we’ll be gathering supplies for MCC Relief Kits during children’s time. To participate, please bring the following NEW items on these dates:

September 8:
     4 new bath towels (medium weight, dark or bright colors; approx.. 29 in x 60 in)

September 15
     4 large bars bath soap (leave in wrapper)
     Shampoo (1 or 2 bottles, totaling more than 20 oz; place in resealable plastic bag)
     4 large bars laundry soap (such as Fels Naptha, Sunlight, or Zote brands)

September 22:
     4 adult-size toothbrushes (in manufacturer’s packaging)
     2 wide-toothed combs (6-8 in)

September 29:
     1 box adhesive bandages (minimum 40, assorted)
     Sanitary pads (THIN; 1 or 2 packages, minimum 28 pads total)
