BABY SHOWER - All are invited for potluck and a baby shower following worship (today) (Sunday). We will be celebrating with Danny and Martha Tshibangu, who will be welcoming a baby boy in September.


QUARTERLY MISSION OFFERING – Today we will collect for People's City Mission.

THE MCC FLATLANDER BIKE RIDE is Sept 21 in North Newton. Please talk to Pastor Dave if you're interested in riding/participating this year.  There are registration brochures in his mailbox.


COFFEE – Pastor Dave would love to catch up with you after two months away.... He will return to Panera (62nd & O) next week for coffee on Wednesday (9:30-11:30a): please come for a chat after sabbatical:-) or email to set up coffee or lunch some other time.


PLAYGROUND - Have you noticed the "new" playground structure by the church? A BIG THANK YOU goes to Doug, Michelle, Avery and Britton Fast for this donation and the cost of moving it here. The FMC kids are already enjoying it!

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUESTS - We pray for students, teachers and staff who are returning to school. May God bless their learning and may they both receive and reflect the love of God in their school settings. We pray for our church-related schools, Freeman Academy and Iowa Mennonite.
