BABY SHOWER - To celebrate the birth of a new baby boy for Danny and Martha Tshibangu, we will host a baby shower with next church potluck today. Since they have arrived recently from DR Congo, they are in need of all baby items. Diapers, clothing, high chair, stroller, car seat, crib, etc. Lightly used items are always welcomed. If your small group or friends are joining together to purchase a larger baby item, let Wanda Stauffer know what you are bringing so we avoid doubles. Currently we have a car seat being purchased.
QUARTERLY MISSION OFFERING August 18th will be taken for People's City Mission.

THE MCC FLATLANDER BIKE RIDE is Sept 21 in North Newton. Please talk to Pastor Dave if you're interested in riding/participating this year. There are registration brochures in his mailbox.
PLAYGROUND - Have you noticed the "new" playground structure by the church? A BIG THANK YOU goes to Doug, Michelle, Avery and Britton Fast for this donation and the cost of moving it here. The FMC kids are already enjoying it!
CENTRAL PLAINS WOMEN'S RETREAT is Sept 21-22 at Swan Lake. Please see the poster on the bulletin board, and talk to Laura Nickel for more information.
TEACHER – We are still looking for an additional teacher for the middle school / high school class, a couple substitute teachers, and someone to lead music at the beginning of the Sunday school hour. Please contact Kathy Haake if you would like to be part of helping our youth grow and learn in Christ and community.
