A BIG THANK YOU  to all who donated, bid, purchased items and helped facilitate the FMC auction.  It was a wonderful success as we raised $3687 for the new mower.  The trustees would like to thank you all!!

Wade adds "anyone who wants to buy the Thiessen mowing package, please contribute to the mower fund... it's still an option and the amount is wide open."

COFFEE - Ladies, come enjoy conversation and coffee on the second Monday of each month. Our next gathering will be Monday, April 8, 9:30am at Jolene Boshart’s. 5135 South St

MORTGAGE - Exciting news!!!  We are within $1000 of being able to pay off our mortgage balance in full.  We have building fund reserves to continue making our mortgage payment for most of this year.  However, as soon as we get in another $1000 of outstanding building pledges we should be able to payoff our balance in full and be completely debt free on our church building! Thank you everyone for your generous pledges as we would not be able to payoff our loan without you.

PLEASE JOIN US for an Easter brunch on Easter Sunday at 9:30 am, no potluck this month and no Sunday School Easter Sunday.

EVERENCE - In 2018, First Mennonite Church qualified for $1200 of Sharing Fund matching from Everence.  In 2019 we are qualified for $1500.  To qualify for an even higher Everence match, we need to increase our Congregational support of Everence products.  One easy way to do this is to open a Youth Savings account for your child or grandchild.  These online accounts provide a guaranteed 4% APY on the first $1000.  A minimum of $25 is required to open an account.  If this would be of interest to you, please contact Rick for help in setting up an Everence Youth Savings Account.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - As they are finishing up their time in Ecuador and preparing to come home, pray for the participants in the Fellowship and Learning trip to the Ecuadorian Rainforest that left on March 28, and will return home on April 10.
