COFFEE - The Church ladies morning coffee will be at Joyce Friesen’s house. It will be at 9:30 am on Mon.  March 11.  Address is 3500 N 89th St  behind the North Walmart.

 

CHURCH AUCTION - March 24 - FMC will have a church auction on March 24 after potluck. Making something for the Relief Sale and can make another one? Bring things like crafts, baked goods, plants, hand made items, certificates for services like snow shoveling or babysitting, other creative ideas you have, and any other nice things to donate. And get ready to bid!!

 

YOUTH AND ADULTS TO WORK SHIFTS at the Soft Serve Ice Cream, Pork Sandwich, or Information Booths. Pies, bread & Jelly for the soup supper. See sign up sheets in Narthex.

MEMORABILIA to COMMEMORATE 40 YEARS OF SALES. Bring pictures or items from former sales to the church with your name on it to be displayed in the Anniversary Booth.Comments / stories can be posted on website

PICTURES / DESCRIPTION of your crafts, art work, donationsPlease sign them up on the MCC Sale Website ahead of time. Post pictures and a description of larger items so that they can be posted on the website and the Sale FB page for viewing ahead of the sale.

 

CHILD DEDICATION SUNDAY, March 17.  Everyone is invited to fellowship with guests and families. An extended snack time will be shared.

 

VBS SIGN UP - Child and volunteer sign up sheets are available in the Fellowship Hall for VBS. There are a variety of volunteer jobs so please consider volunteering. Questions? Ask Jennifer, Jeana, or Lisa.

 

THE FOOD BASKET QUILT will be displayed in our sanctuary Sunday morning. It is traveling among MCC relief sales in the U.S. gathering donations to alleviate hunger in countries around the world. Money raised from Our Coins Count and all bids on this quilt at the Aurora relief sale will go directly the MCC Food For All programs:

Providing canned meat in exchange for environmental work and tree planting in Burundi.

Enable families to raise rabbits or chickens for food and income in the Gaza Strip.

Help farmers in Chad raise healthier livestock and find new ways to earn an income on their land.

The quilt, made by Marlys Wiens, is made from waxed dyed Java print in brilliant colors and patterns unique to the Congo.
