CHILI FUNDRAISER TODAY - The youth group invite you to a chili fundraiser after church. Donations will go towards the youth fund for the MCUSA Convention in Kansas City this summer. If you want to provide a delicious chili or dessert, please sign up on the sheet in the Fellowship Hall.
WEDNESDAY - We'll have lots going on at an all church small group Feb 20: we'll share finger food, discuss our theme verse, wrap up our discussions of the Sabbath study, penny vote on our quarterly mission offering recipients, and solicit feedback on offering and congregational prayer. We'll start eating around 6:15.
CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the churches in the Eastern Iowa cluster as they prepare for Annual Meeting 2019, which will take place on June 20-23.
IT'S PENNY VOTE TIME - We received nine nominations for our 2019 quarterly mission offering recipients - thank you! Now it's time to vote. A jar will be set out for each nominee in fellowship hall, and you will be given five tokens. Placing a token in a jar is a vote for that organization. You can distribute your five votes anyway you would like - all five for one organization, one vote each for five different organizations, etc. Voting will take place Sunday, February 17th, Wednesday, February 20th, and Sunday, February 24th. The top three vote-getters will be chosen as quarterly mission offering recipients this year. See Kevin H or Kathy B for your tokens or for any questions you may have.
CHURCH AUCTION - March 24 - FMC will have a church auction on March 24 after potluck. Can you donate great stuff that people would want? Making something for the Relief Sale and can make another one? Bring things like crafts, baked goods, plants, handmade items, certificates for services like snow shoveling or babysitting, other creative ideas you have, and any other nice things to donate. And get ready to bid!!
