CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - Join us Sunday, Dec 16 at 5:30 p.m. for our Christmas program. It is always a wonderful event, full of music, drama, and unexpected surprises.   It will include our kid’s play and two songs from the choir.  You won’t want to miss it!

KIDS - If you kids are in the Kids Christmas Play, please have them here by 5pm to get into costume.

BRING TREATS - Following the Christmas Program, please bring Christmas cookies, bars and other snacks to share.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR PRACTICE We have one last practice at 9am on December 16.  Our performance will be that evening at 5:30.

ELDER ELECTIONS – We will have an opening for an Elder next year.  Please start thinking of your nominations.  Votes will be cast at the congregational meeting in January.  Please give this prayerful consideration.

THEME VERSE - The elders are beginning discernment for a 2019 theme verse. We will have a congregational vote at the annual meeting in January. Please send your suggestions by Dec 11 (the next elder meeting). Please share your preferences w/ Dallas, Wade, Anita or Pastor Dave.

CITY IMPACT – is running low on gifts.  Can you give online or shop from their Amazon Gifts of Love Wish List?

GIVING TREE - People's City Mission has requested towels and wash cloths for use at their shelter.  Let's creatively decorate the Christmas Tree in the sanctuary by Sunday, Dec 23rd.  Who can fold a washcloth into a teddy bear?

GREAT NEWS - Our mortgage balance is down to $8,786.  Thank you all for your generous donations to pay down our debt much faster than anticipated.  We have around $2,500 in expected pledges yet for 2018 and additional pledges in 2019 to hopefully payoff the balance in full.  If you have any questions regarding our debt reduction or your pledge, please reach out to the treasurer, Brett Stauffer.

THANK YOU to those who have responded to our giving survey:  paper surveys are on the table in the fellowship hall, and can be placed in the treasurer's mail box once completed. Or feel free to complete it online: https://goo.gl/forms/kpphlEmOOHkV1U042. Your surveys will help with our 2019 budget, and will be kept confidential with only the Treasurer accessing these records.
