TODAY we welcome Adora Mukuna to give the message. She will be starting her final year at UNL and her major is Human Development and Family Science. She would like to be a social worker in the long run or something similar. With the encouragement of her parents, she is very excited to minister this morning.
CELEBRATE – Our June potluck will be early (6/3) and will also be a bridal shower for Bryce & Casey and Kelsey & Garrett. Please join us!
STUDY - The summer Sunday school class will be a class in which we explore church membership, baptism, and catechism together. We will meet in the youth room, and, even if you don't consider yourself "youth," please talk to Dave or an elder (Anita, Dallas, or Wade) if you're interested.
SAY CHEESE - There is power in images, so pictures are often taken during church events with the intent of using these for community outreach through our website and Facebook page. If you object to your picture being used in this manner, please let Kathy Haake know.
TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME - The next game for the men's slow pitch softball team is on Monday, June 4th at 6:15 pm at Ballard Field. Come out and cheer them on!
WE NEED YOUR BELTS! – The Waegli's/Schlegels are collecting gently used belts to take with them to Boise for the Homeless Shelter where Marc volunteers. Please bring them by Sunday, June 3.
CAN YOU HOST? - Anita is coordinating the home stays for Central Plains Conference in Lincoln (June 21-24). Please talk to her if you would be willing to host out-of-town guests that weekend.
CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the White Chapel Mennonite Church in Glendive, Montana, as they apply to become a member congregation of Central Plains.
