THANK YOU to Steven Reschly for bringing us the message today.  He has been at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, since 1994. He has degrees from University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa, Goshen Biblical Seminary, and Goshen College. He served as pastor of a Mennonite church in Cedar Falls, Iowa, for six years. His current research examines rural consumer culture in Amish and related groups in 1930s Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. But most importantly, he is Leah’s dad.

BIBLE SCHOOL - Mark your calendars! Vacation Bible School will be June 26-28, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at FMC. Sign-up sheets are available for children attending and for volunteers who want to help out. Please contact the VBS Committee (Rachel, Jennifer, Jeana) with any questions.

MAKE IT AUTOMATIC - Did you know the church offers direct debit from your bank account for your weekly or monthly offering? If you are interested in setting up a new automatic withdrawal, please talk to the Treasurer Brett Stauffer.

YOUTH BAKE SALE – The Youth Group will have a food table at the Neighborhood Garage Sale to offer coffee, cinnamon rolls (the neighbors are already asking), and a bake sale.  Please sign up to donate baked goods and snacks for us to sell.  A sign-up sheet will be in the fellowship hall.

BASEBALL - The FMC 2nd Annual Baseball trip is planned for Wednesday, May 16th.  We will travel to Kansas City for a 1:15 Royals game with Tampa Bay, and return after the game.  Please notify Rick Stauffer or Dallas Schlegel by April 22nd if you are interested in attending.  Hope to see you at the stadium.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST -  Today Amanda Bleichty, pastor at Washington Mennonite Church in Washington, Iowa, is being ordained. Pray for God's blessing on the ministry Amanda and Washington Mennonite share.
