ALL-CHURCH SMALL GROUP - "India night" on March 14. We invite you to bring India-inspired food if your feeling adventurous in your eating, or other food if you're not so much... we will share a meal at 6:30p, and David and Kendra Wiebe will share some photos from their recent trip. We also hope to connect w/ mission/service workers in India (e.g. Sri?) in Sunday school, fellowship time, and/or worship time on Sunday 3/11.
MCC SALE - We will continue our MCC sale preparations with a few craft and woodworking gatherings. Please talk to Pastor Dave if you're interested, and we'll figure out a time.
ON DISPLAY in the church last week was the Mennonite Relief Sale WATER TRAVELING QUILT. This quilt, made by Marlys Wiens in 2012, reminds us of the children in the world who are out fetching water for their family instead of being able to go to school to get an education. Donations for MCC water projects can be given during the sale or by donating your change for My Coins Count.
PASTA COOK-OFF - Have a favorite pasta sauce? Want to share it at church? Sign up for the Pasta Cook-off on March 18. The youth will be serving up some delicious pasta to try out the different sauces, along with bread, salad, and desserts. Donations will be accepted for the youth fund. Sign up sheet is available in the Fellowship Hall.
CHOIR - We are in the planning stages for the Good Friday and Easter Sonrise services with Antelope Park Church of the Brethren. Details on upcoming choir practices to follow.
MCC VOLUNTEER – Please let Pastor Dave know if you can help staff the soft serve ice cream and information booths.
SERMONS AVAILABLE ONLINE – With our new worship presentation software, we are once again able to post the sermon recordings online. You can find them on our website https://fmclincoln.org/Sermons.
CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for the Mennonite churches in Venezuela. Give thanks for the many fruitful ministries they are doing to share the Good News with their communities, and pray that God will continue to provide for their material needs in an increasingly desperate economic crisis.
