MCC RELIEF KIT – Today we are collecting Nail Clippers and Bandages. Next week remember to bring Laundry Bar Soap. Suggested brands include Zote and Fels-Naptha. The Super Saver at 27th and Superior carries it, Walmart might have it, and the Menards website says they have it in stock.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - Today, we will start a 6-week adult Sunday school class on bystander intervention. In this class, we will develop a sense of who might be harassed, where harassment can happen, and what actions we might take to help the situation. See Jeanette Harder or Julie Schlegel for more information.
PASTS COOK-OFF - Have a favorite pasta sauce? Want to share it at church? Think about signing up for the Pasta Cook-off on March 18. The youth will be serving up some delicious pasta to try out the different sauces, along with bread, salad, and desserts. Donations will be accepted for the youth fund. Look for a sign up sheet coming soon!
THANK YOU - The youth would like to thank you for contributing to the Souper Bowl of Caring last Sunday. We raised $178 for Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach!
WOMEN’S RETREAT – The women here at FMC are in charge of planning this year's Nebraska Women's Retreat, and you are all invited! This year will be a special seminar: "Sister Care: Equipping Women for Healing Ministries" at the Leadership Center in Aurora, Nebraska, on March 3-4, 2018. For more information or to register online, visit: fmclincoln.org/WomensRetreatSisterCare or contact Carol Knieriem or Barb Schelgel.
