STUFFING & YAMS - We received an incredible outpouring of yams (124 cans) and stuffing (207 boxes) for People's City Mission baskets. Thanks for all the ways you contributed to this project.
PARENT’S NIGHT OUT - Looking for an evening out or time to spend Christmas shopping? The senior high youth will be providing baby-sitting services on Friday, December 1 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FMC. Donations will be accepted towards the youth fund.
YOUTH EVENT - The youth will be volunteering at Gifts of Love on Saturday, December 9 from 2-4 p.m. A Christmas party will follow at the Miller's.
CHRISTMAS CHOIR PRACTICE – We will be singing “Underneath Starry Skies” at the Christmas evening program on December 10th. Come to our practices at 9am before Sunday School. Contact Kathy Boshart with any questions.
GIFT DONATIONS - City Impact has placed a Gifts of Love box in the fellowship hall. They welcome new gifts and cash donations for the Lincoln community in order to "help provide Christmas with dignity for locally under-resourced kids." Please mark the retail price on the gift to help with the kids and parent’s store “shopping.” You can also donate wrapping paper or bags. They will pick up the box December 10.
WEDNESDAY - We will have an all-church small group to discuss Sharing Faith Stories on 11/29. We recognize that not all groups have finished the study, but would like to have an opportunity to share stories. We will have supper at 6:30, and the elders and Pastor Dave will provide soup. Please bring something that goes along with soup.
BUILDING FUND - Pledges totaling $21,900 has been committed so far to our goal of $30,000 over the next 3 years. Please continue to pray and consider how you can help or who you can reach out to in regards to our debt reduction commitments. We have a goal of $10,000 a year in new commitments above and beyond our regular giving in order to eliminate our mortgage balance by the end of 2019. Additional copies of the debt reduction letter and commitment cards are located in the top right mailbox. Pledge cards can be dropped in the offering plate or the treasurer's mailbox.
THANK YOU - Thank you so much for all the love, support, visits, phone calls, food and most of all prayers during this kidney transplant journey. We are so blessed to be supported by such a loving church family. Recovery is going well—God is good all the time!
