MDS - Wayne Stucky, regional co-director of Mennonite Disaster Service (and Wade and Tammy's uncle) will preach on 10/15. He will lead adult Sunday school for those interested in MDS's many present activities.


RESCHEDULE - Due to weather, FMC roofing the Habitat faith build has been rescheduled for the afternoons of Thursday (10/12) and Friday (10/13). Please talk to Dallas, Wade, or Pastor Dave for more information.


TEACHERS & LEADERS - It's the time of year when we ask each teacher and leader who works with children/youth to please read and sign our child protection policy. A copy can be found in the right-hand column of mailboxes. If you are a teacher/leader, please sign, date, and return (in the mailbox below the copies) the last page indicating you have read and will follow. Please speak with Carol, Rachel, or Ingrid with questions or concerns. 


CROP WALK - Today, several of us will be participating in the CROP walk at 1:30p. Talk to Garry or Pastor Dave if you're interested in sponsoring or participating.


BUILDING FUND - For our building fund, pledges totaling $7,500 has been committed so far to our goal of $30,000 over the next 3 years.  Please continue to pray and consider how you can help or who you can reach out to in regards to our debt reduction commitments.  We have a goal of $10,000 a year in new commitments above and beyond our regular giving in order to eliminate our mortgage balance by the end of 2019.  Additional copies of the debt reduction letter and commitment cards are located in the top right mailbox.  Pledge cards can be dropped in the offering plate or the treasurer's mailbox.


CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST -     The situation for both documented and undocumented immigrants creates uncertainty and stress for families. Pray for immigrants you know and for the leaders who have the ability to improve the situation, that the Spirit of Christ may bring wisdom and guidance to all.
