Mission statement for AIMM - Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission is an evangelical Anabaptist “family gathering” in which African, North American and European members are working together to become an answer to Jesus’ prayer:  “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”.

STUDY - The Nurture Commission and Elders are working together to offer an all-church study ("Upside Down Living: Sharing Faith Stories") beginning in September and encourage everyone to join in. We are asking all small groups to participate and possibly have others join for the 6 lessons. We propose the groups meet Sept. 13, 27; Oct. 11, 25; Nov. 8, 15 and an all-church wrap-up on Nov. 29. There may be a small group meeting Sunday afternoons and some sermons and worship activities will be coordinated as well. We are excited about this all-church event!

PHOTOS - Worship committee requests pictures/images which represent part/all of Romans 12:12 (our 2017 theme verse). We will display them and hope to make a PowerPoint slide show of these images for use in worship August 27. Please send me your submissions.

SMALL GROUPS - If you're interested in joining a small group for the all-church study or other reasons, please talk to Sheri N (chair of nurture) or one of the elders: Wade, Wanda, or Dallas.

"The good news, is that when people come together in a Christ-centered, caring fellowship, they have the best potential for becoming what they were intended to be - a sharing, forgiving, serving community of people who meet each others' needs and reach out in love to the world." --Palmer Becker

TICKETS - JOIN US - Get together with your girlfriends for an experience filled with laughter, storytelling and wisdom. Learn creative tools for celebrating the art of friendship and nurturing lasting relationships. The Wonderfully Made women's group is getting a group together for this event. Let Kathy Boshart know if you are interested in going with us on September 1st at 7:00 p.m.

CONFERENCE PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for Mennonite sisters and brothers in Venezuela where the political situation is in crisis, adding to the stress of hunger, joblessness and homelessness. Pray for peace in Venezuela and for wisdom and strength for Jesus' disciples there.

Quarterly Theme Verse

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Romans 12:12
