Please join us on Sunday mornings either in person or on Zoom: Sunday Service.

First Mennonite Church is committed to being a Christian community that welcomes, nurtures, and values others.  We strive to serve God by modeling loving care for one another.  Peace and justice issues, service, evangelism, spirituality, and living simply and ethically are among the Anabaptist-Mennonite concerns that we share.

We are located at 7300 Holdrege in Lincoln, Nebraska.

FoodNet distributionFoodnet Distribution Site

First Mennonite Church is excited to be a new distribution site for Foodnet [http://foodnetlincoln.org/]. With the slogan of “tummy fill, not landfill,” Foodnet volunteers collect food from donors for distribution at sites around the Lincoln area each day. Foodnet provides mostly perishable foods such as fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and bread—nutritious items that may not be readily available in food pantries. Anyone is welcome to volunteer and pick up food. First Mennonite Church’s distribution is on Thursdays at 5 pm. For more information, contact Dallas Schlegel at the church.
