GROUP - "Bowling and Bonfire" is today with the youth group from Shickley's

back to Stauffer's for a bonfire.
|
|
LOOK FOR YOUR NAME - We want you in our church
directory. The directory is
distributed everyone in our church.
Please check the pages on the wall of the fellowship hall for your
name, address, birthday, etc. and make any corrections. If you don't see your name there, write it
on the wall!
|
|

WORLD COMMUNION - This morning we join together with
Christians around the world in a sharing the Lord's Supper. First Mennonite Church practices an open
Communion. All who love the Lord and
desire to follow him are welcome to partake.
MEMBERSHIP - We plan to receive new members later this
year. People may be received as
members by baptism, transfer, or confession of faith. Let David Orr know if you might be
interested in becoming a member of the congregation.
TROYER FAMILY - "God's Grace" will be the musical message
of the Troyer Family during the worship service on Sunday, October 25. Steve and Katie and their four young
children are from Fort St. John in northern British Columbia. This would be a great opportunity to
invite friends and family who would enjoy traditional style southern gospel
music.
LEADERSHIP BOARD - Minutes are posted on the bulletin
board east of the kitchen.
LARGE PRINT - Large Print Hymnals are now available at the
audiovisual desk.

TO OUR FIRST
MENNONITE FAITH FAMILY:
Thank You, Thank
You, for your many expressions of concern and encouragement following my emergency
surgery. The road to recovery is going quite well. With time and
a great deal of patience this, too, will pass. Your many acts of
friendship, expressed through your words of encouragement, your visits, your
cards, your meals, your flowers and your many prayers are received with deep
appreciation and gratitude. May God's Blessing rest on each one of you
as you, faithfully, pursue the journey of ministry God continues to have in
store for First Mennonite Church. -Marlin Kym
