Call to Worship
Micah
6:6-8
All:
With what shall I come before the LORD,
and bow myself before God on high?
Men:
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
Women:
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams,
Men:
with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
Women:
Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?"
Leader
He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

SPEAKER TODAY - We welcome Gordon Brubacher, our special
speaker this morning. Gordon received
his Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Near Eastern Studies from Drew
University. He has been a professor
of Bible, Archeology, and Ancient Near Eastern Studies at Messiah College,
Doane College, and the Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem. He is currently teaching at Creighton

MISSION STIMULUS PAYMENT - Many mission organizations are
struggling during these challenging economic times. People's City Mission has had to reduce staff. Mennonite Central Committee has made
painful cuts. Mennonite Mission
Network has been facing income shortfalls for several years. In response, Leadership Board has agreed
to make special gifts of $1,000 to help each agency. We are thankful for your generosity that
makes this possible.
BAPTISM EXPLORATION VIDEO - View the Baptism Exploration
Group's video on the website www.fmclincoln.org.

Conference touring group, Seeds of the Kingdom. They currently live in Shickley and attend
Salem Mennonite Church.

contact congregational chairperson, Brenda McLey. Nurture Commission chair, Dallas Schlegel, is the alternate
