FEELING CREATIVE? - Kathy Boshart, Tammy Riedel, and Pastor Dave Nickel are planning a few MCC sale project times. They are brainstorming/soliciting craft, woodworking, and quilting projects for our congregation to work on together. If you are interested in participating in one/some of these workdays/evenings, please talk to one of them soon.
MISSION TRAVEL - Anita and Hannah Breckbill are planning to go with a group from the Central Plains Mennonite Conference on an Ecuador Partnership Learning and Fellowship Tour, January 7-19, 2017. The Mission Travel Fund will be assisting with their expenses, so, if you'd like to contribute, please write "mission travel fund" in the memo line on your check.
PRAYER REQUEST - Pray for Shana Peachey Boshart, conference minister for Christian formation, as she begins a three-month sabbatical this week. She will use the time for rest, practicing contemplative prayer and studying intercultural competence.
Thank you for joining us in worship this morning. We trust that God has blessed you through this service. May the peace of God be with you!
Next week we will read Matt 3:13-17 and Acts 10:34-43 and talk about baptizing Jesus.
